Every year children from the primary schools across the constituency are invited to take part in a competition to design the Christmas card that the MP for Edinburgh South will send out.
A winner is chosen from each school, and a finalist from this shortlist. Each of the school winners are displayed on the back of the card; with the overall design on the front. MP Ian Murray chose Evie Hollington’s design (above) as the winning Edinburgh Steiner School card.
As well as being the constituency Christmas card, a small number are sent around the world, and once again this year they will land on the doormats of Buckingham Palace, 10 Downing Street and the White House.
