One period each week of the movement art of Eurythmy in Class 9.
In the Eurythmy Lessons pupils apply creatively the different elements learned in speech and tone Eurythmy in the previous years.
In Speech Eurythmy the pupils work in groups of six, choosing the most expressive sounds for a poem, and then teaching them to the other group in a self-led experience.
In Tone Eurythmy The Class choose more complex pieces of music, such as sonatas or rondos, with a more elaborated form, combining different aspects such as pitch, rhythm, musical phrases, form, intervals and tones.
They conclude the academic year exploring together the Zodiacal gestures and their correspondence with the consonants in the English language.
The West Midlands Eurythmy Stage Group visit the School regularly to put on professional performances suitable for the younger and older age groups within the School.
